CV Kees de Waard

Kees de Waard is General Manager of ReSteel and has an extensive experience in sales, marketing, product management, business development and general management. Moreover, he knows how to work in a start-up situation.

Kees started his career at Philips Physical Laboratory, where he worked in the department of metals on the subject of permanent magnetic materials.

After his work in Research Kees started working in the glass fibre technology, where he acquired his commercial and business experience. He was Sales Director Europe with JDSU (a global player in components and modules for networks). 

After this he worked with ThreeFive Photonics as Sales Director, a start-up, originating from TU Delft, with a focus on marketing InP chip technology on behalf of telecommunication. After ThreeFive photonics had been transferred to the American ASIP he was appointed Global Sales Director with ASIP.

Before Kees entered into service with ReSteel he worked with KROHNE Altometer as Product Group Manager, where he was responsible for Product Management of the Ultrasone- and Electromagnetic flow meters.
